Hmm, it looks like the videos aren't available yet But for those eager to watch these classy matches I still can offer the torrent files; I have downloaded myself the file and I can assure you that the quality is quite good. I dunno how fast your connections are but with mine (16 Mb/s) I needed not more than ± 13' for the 1.5 GB file. If this isn't a issue for ya than try it,

Sad but true - the Templars of Twilight are not anymore. The mighty, perhaps the most important non-korean SC-Clan ever, has announced the end of their activity. The german clan founded 12 years ago by

SC 2 or not, tomorrow will start the 1/8 Finals of the OSL; one match is seeded from each of the 4 groups. Ok, these matches don't look so tremendous like those from the last matchday in the MSL; however, I still think it's more than worth to watch these 4 matches,

KoreanAir  S2  OSL    1/8  Finals  « Start 05:30 ~ SCZ time »

  • Group  A

    • EffOrt   0
    • Action   1

    • Group  B

      • HiyA   1
      • Hyuk   0

      • Group  C

        • Pure   0
        • Hydra   1

        • Group  D

          • FanTaSy   0
          • Stork   1

I suppose that at least one of these two streams will do fine, for those among you eager to watch these matches live. Videos added !

For 5 players tomorrow it will be their last day in this competition; sad for them. But for us it will be a thrill of joy - no more, no less; not even one of these matches I will call average. No, this is SC of the highest level. The first day in this round was a catastrophe for all the STX SouLCalm, by.hero, Kal › and WeMadeFox gamers ‹ Midas, RorO › - not even 1 win, and it was a great round so far for KT Rolster fOrGG, Stats, Flash - only Violet lost against Flash › and MBCGame HeroLight, Sea › - all wins; just by the way, tomorrow is Bisu's last chance in the MSL. In addition let's mention that the winners are decided in the best of 3 mode. The grid for tomorrow and the results so far,

          Bigfile  MSL    1/8  Finals  « Start 05:30 AM / SCZ time »

          • Jaedong   2
          • Kal   1

          • Stats   1
          • Calm   2

          • by.hero   1
          • fOrGG   2

          • Bisu   0
          • Sea   2

          • Hyuk   0
          • FanTaSy   2

And these are the streams you'll need if you wanna watch these matches live,

Videos aren't available yet, but if you wanna see some some of these classy matches played today already, try the torrent file; files have good quality, like always. The bad part is that the file is kinda big - 1.3 GB, that's why a speedy connection is required. However under all the matches played today I recommend,

The OSL will continue tomorrow, the 30. July with another 4 matches; and like two days ago, it's the same procedure - 1 match from each of the 4 groups. While Bisu, already out in the MSL, will try a good start in his group against Leta, Sea, the one who eliminated Bisu in the MSL today, will face Jaedong in his group. ZerO and Free, both from team Woongjin Stars and also both already out in the MSL will cross blades with Flash and Kal. All in all, pretty impressive stuff. Here the grid for tomorrow in this competition,

A special round in the OSL, today - above all the match between Flash vs ZerO; it was a battle worth to remember. ZerO played his brain out, he did everything within human power to be successful in this match, and he deserves a lot respect for his performance. But agaist Flash these days, that's still not good enough. While Flash begun a bit too overconfident, and choosed metal instead of the usual bio against Zerg, and that makes his victory today even more significant, ZerO's aim was to control the map and to expand at all costs. What makes Flash's victory really tremendous is that he won nearly without destroying any of ZerO's expansions; except the one nearest to his main, at the end of the match. Flash proved once more that even if map control is important for this game, it's not imperative in order to be successful. A good horse jumps only as high as it must ...

The 4 groups rankings after every gamer played 1 x match in the 1/8 Finals; except FanTaSy, it looks damn good for all the terrans, but not even he is doomed yet. Again, qualified at the end of this round are the best two in each group,

Okidoki. Since the 1/8 Finals have ended yesterday, what remains to say after this outstandinground ? Fact is that all the Protoss players are gone - Bisu was in both games against Sea too predictable (played in both game carriers) and a bit too hasty. Kal played at eye level with Jaedong, but against Jaedong's Dark Swarms he couldn't find the proper counter. Violet was clear dominated by Flash. And Stats after he dominate Calm over the entire first game, he lost some days later the other 2 games after a more than pathetic performance. Besides the situation of the Protoss players I haven't noticed surprises of any kind during the 1/8 Finals. These are the left 8 players in this competition based on their races, and in addition the grid for the 1/4 Finals,

Terran:   Flash     Sea     FanTaSy     fOrGG     Light

                  Zerg:   EffOrt     Jaedong   Calm

                  Protoss:   xxx

... actually the next matchday in the OSL was planned for tomorrow, but somehow the hosts have shifted it for today; so that I missed it too. But ... I saw already the matches from the torrent pack. In Group A Leta, thanks to his outstanding wraith micro, let EffOrt look like a newb; it's the winner of the last OSL we're talkin' here. After the victory against Bisu it looks like Leta is finally becoming the player the scene expect from him since years; cool, relaxed and no matter against whom, he play his own game - the way it should be. For those who don't know him, Leta is since years one of the best Terrans in Korea, with an outstanding micro and unusual / uncommon strats. But in the past individual leagues, in the decisively games, he was a nervous wreck, never able to play his amazing style. In Group B ZerO won after a short game against HiyA; the Terran lost because of his flawed timing. Same in Group C, where Sea won against a totally uninspired Pure; I don't know what's wrong with this guy but his lastest games are just messy. Another match worth to watch was played in the Group D. Free is back !! After the victory in the first game in his group against Kal now he punished FanTaSy and claims the 1st place in this group. It's good to see that at least some Protoss players can resist against the strong Terran and Zerg dominance these days ... really worth to see

The next 1/8 Finals matches in the OSL are sheduled for tomorrow, the 04. Aug. After these matches we will be able to evaluate better the situation in each group; because after the matches tomorrow every player has only one match left. And if a player will have two defeats on his account, he is practically eliminated from this competition. While Flash and Jaedong can be considered favourites in their matches, the other two are quite even. Bisu need at all costs a victory against Action, so far he wanna preserve his chances for the next round. Action, which won the first match in his group against EffOrt, can live with a defeat; however he must be aware that in the last match he must face Leta !! But in my opinion the most interesting match above all tomorrow, even if it's a mirror, is between Stork and Kal; it's quite a long time since these two Protoss masters have fight each other. The last match, in November 2009 won Kal ...

Here the situation in the groups after 2x matches per player. Only in Group D we have a clear situation; Free & Stork are definitely in the next round, aka the ¼ Finals, no matter what happens in the last matches in this group. In all the other groups all players still have chances for the next round.

For tomorrow, the 05. Aug are sheduled the first matches in the 1/4 Finals. From now on it's the elite only which fight against each other. The first match is already an highlight. After the win in the 1/8 Finals over his teammate Violet, Flash must face again a player from his team - KT Rolster; only that this time it's a big shot. fOrGG is one of the very few Terran players in Korea able to contain Flash; it's a rare opportunity the MSL offer us in this season, with this match. The other highlight is the match between Jaedong and Sea. Even if Sea won in the OSL against Jaedong in his group, I don't think that's reason enough to see him as the favourite in this match - but not at all; to beat Jaedong in a best of 5, he must perform like mad. Chances in this match 55% to 45% for Jaedong. And in the other two matches are only top 10 players left, so yeah - we can expect a lot in this round of the MSL,

The Shinhan ProLeague 2010 will end after tomorrow's mega-event  - the Final of this season. For those among you not so familiar with the korean leagues - this is the team league. Like in the previous season KT Rolster dominated in a impressive manner the league. Like in the previous season the 3rd placed team one STX SouL, failed in the Semifinal also this season; only that this time they have been defeated by SK Telecom and not by MBCGame Hero. SK Telecom - one of the most successful teams in the past, a team with so much tradition (it's SlayerS_Boxers & iloveoov's team), played after an average start better and better. The time finally comes to face the best of the best; and these are since awhile the players from KT Rolster.

Some might believe that KT Rolster doing so well mostly because of Flash, but nothing is more far from the truth. Because other teams like Hwaseung OZ or Hite SPARKYZ have also with Jaedong and Leta, 2 outstanding players; but these teams aren't obviously on the top of the ranking. Sure, Flash's support was amazing over the season, no question, but KT Rolster won't be where they are without Stats, Violet, HoeJJa, Tempest and fOrGG - no way !!

The winner team in this Final is decided after a best of 7 match; in addition the maps and the teams for tomorrow ,

The last 4, from the remaining 8 matches in the OSL groups, are sheduled for tomorrow - the 11. Aug. Except in the match between Stork and Free - in Group D, where both are already qualified, no matter what happens in this group, all the other matches are vital for the players involved into. In Group A, even after 2 defeats, EffOrt still has a small chance to reach the tie - if he beats Bisu; assumed Leta win also against Action. On the other hand if Bisu wins it's possible that he's still not over the hill - in case Leta lose against Action; in this case it will be a tie between Leta, Bisu and Action. So as you can see everything is still possible in this group. In Group B in a mirror match ZerO will face Hyuk; if ZerO wins, and the chances are quite good, he is probably in the next round; assuming HiyA don't beat Flash - but I can imagine that Flash wanna play a tie Only if ZerO lose guess it will be a tie for the second place between, ZerO, Hyuk and HiyA; but I won't bet on a tie in this group. And in Group C Pure has a last chance against Jaedong; but hard to believe he will be able to use this chance. However if Jaedong wins it's still possible to play a tie, if Hydra can defeat Sea in the last match ...
